We had a wonderful stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Shiodome during our family trip to Tokyo! The location of the hotel was excellent, within walking distance to the Ginza area and easy to navigate. It’s conveniently accessible to the Toei-Asakusa, Oedo, and JR Yamanote train lines. We especially appreciated how quiet and peaceful it was walking back to the hotel after a long day, without having to navigate through crowded areas. Our room was well set up for our family of three. The size was decent, comfortably accommodating three large suitcases, a queen-sized bed, and a sofa bed. It felt cozy and functional for our needs. The breakfast was enjoyable, offering a great variety of Western and Japanese food choices. We particularly loved the complimentary drinks during happy hour—it was a nice touch that we all appreciated! The staff at the lobby, especially the female staff members, were very helpful and knowledgeable. The check-in and check-out processes were smooth and efficient. They also assisted us with luggage transfer to the airport through the Airporter service, which made our departure much easier. Overall, we were very happy with our stay at Hotel Villa Fontaine Grand Tokyo-Shiodome. It was a perfect base for our family’s Tokyo adventure, and we would highly recommend it!

The room was very spacious, clean and had good facilities available. Location was the star of the show, having very easy access to multiple train stations, including full covered access to Shiodome station (very nice to have in winter!) but it was still much quieter than other parts of Tokyo that are this central. Laundry facilities, while a little pricey, were easy to use. Several convenience stores less than a 5 minute walk away and many good food and drink options within 20 minutes. The bed was VERY comfortable and the staff was very helpful, especially since I had to make some slightly complicated plans with them for luggage delivery to my next stay. The free drinks in the lobby at certain hours was also very nice with a good selection.

Location is walking distance from Ginza and convenient to subway stations. The room rate is competitive. This is a good no frills hotel. The staff was understanding, courteous and helpful. We switched from a small room to a larger room after three nights and got a room (Rm 910) that had a very bad toilet smell - we asked for another room and immediately were allocated another room - the staff never asked any questions and attended to our request immediately. This was our second stay at this same hotel and we have decided to use it as our de facto accommodation in the future. We visit Japan three to four times a year.

The property was really good located, the staff and the services was absolutely amazing ! We really enjoy our stay and we highly recommend this location for staying in Tokyo. In addition the place is really quiet and next to the subway so it’s really easy to move all around the city. Of course the breakfast was for me the best thing of the stay, good choice and good food and we really enjoyed to discover the Japanese breakfast style ! The price is really correct for that quality of service.

The shimbashi station is a little of a walk (about 10 min with multi levels- escalators avail for luggage) but excellent if you land/depart out of Haneda. Shiodome station is the other about a 2-3 minute walk, with the most useful being the Oedo subway line. Hotel Elevator- longest wait for one to the room or lobby was 15 seconds.
